eTeens | Online English for Teenagers is designed to keep teenagers engaged by carefully addressing their social and emotional needs. Each course features an ongoing drama, pop song, interesting stories about celebrities, and world culture, all cleverly woven into the lessons to balance with the academic English they need for international English exams such as IELTS and TOEFL.

The curriculum was developed based on The Common Core State Standards for English Language arts (CCSSI-ELA) to foster creativity and innovation in the learning environment.

Students at eTeens experience a comprehensive professional learning process, similar to what they would receive at a high-end physical school. Our curriculum is designed so that students not only learn but also actively enjoy and engage with the material.

eKids learning model

The chart above illustrates how online learning has been transformed through the harmonious combination of IBI self-paced learning (eClasses), IBI live classroom sessions (eConversations), and integrated outdoor activities.

1. eClasses:

Students engage with interactive lessons through eClasses before joining eConversations to collaborate with real teachers and peers for discussions, idea sharing, and games.

This process helps students develop reading, listening, writing, and pronunciation skills. They can write down questions related to their eClasses lessons and receive 24/7 feedback from teachers, either in their own space or during eConversations.

eClasses are designed using an innovative combination of workbook-based methodology and and the repetition method making learning both educational and fun for children.

IBI authoring tool, eTeractive, facilitates knowledge transfer to students through real-world eLearning activities that actively engage learners. This approach helps students quickly acquire lessons while finding them enjoyable to use.

2. eConversations:

eConversations is an environment that helps students efficiently and effectively practice and apply the knowledge they have gained from eClasses.

  • Collaboration: IBI’s cloud-based real-time communication platform, eConversations, allows students and teachers to interact live on both personal and group levels. With a wide range of powerful features and useful tools, including interactive whiteboards, text chatting, and teacher-managed control options, our teachers can dynamically lead live classes through group discussions, learning activities (such as educational games, quizzes, board games, Jeopardy, etc.), and team competitions.
  • Convenience: IBI’s LMS is built with a high level of automation and personalization, allowing students to enroll, choose schedules, register, and take classes independently.
  • Customization: eConversations can be tailored to meet the specific challenges of your organization. It can help develop productive new networks among employees.
  • Class Size: Small class sizes, with a maximum of 9 students per class, are based on careful research and observations by our experts. This number is ideal for maximizing live online learning, as it fosters stronger relationships among students and between teachers and students, and promotes peer learning.
  • Combination: eConversations’ learning content is professionally designed to complement eClasses, maximizing your learning experience.

3. Outdoor Learning:

The IBI outdoor learning program (I-Innovation) provides a valuable experience for students to engage with various aspects of learning through innovation projects. It enables students to respond to the diversity of people they encounter and the different environments they participate in. It is also crucial for educators to nurture their joy in being part of the world beyond our doors.

The students are trained the skills they need for innovation such as communication skill, problem solving skill, design thinking, and creativity.
